I am turning 30 next week and I have to admit, I’m scared. This epic decade threshold is reminding me of my mortality. In my 20’s I tried on many lifestyles: I was an urban waitress, a visual anthropologist, a traveling vagabond and a yoga teacher.
Recently, I have been thinking a lot about love. Specifically, self-love. Connection is something I desire deeply. Sometimes I do feel love for myself. I feel all glowy and happy and floaty and great. Other times, I feel constricted, frustrated and… not so good.

I am so proud of Patricia Sullivan, who just published this article in Conquer magazine about her experience healing through yoga in my class. It moves me that the simplicity of touch, attention and care can have such a deep impact on someone's healing experience.
