RECLAIM YOUR PLEASURE
Embodied experiences of safe sensuality
Wednesdays 7:30 - 9:00pm
8-week series: April 3 - May 22
Our bodies are designed to experience pleasure.
However, in a culture that supports body-shame, collapsed posture and sexual mis-education, we can easily become shut down, numb or tense in our bodies.
Sometimes it can be difficult to feel anything at all- let alone pleasure!
This numbing cuts us off from our powerful capacity to feel. Chronic dissociation or disconnection from our bodies can cause pain, exhaustion and depression.
Without a healthy connection to our senses, it can feel frustratingly impossible to access creativity, pleasure and confidence.
Are you ready for a more pleasurable and vital connection to your body?
Reclaim Your Pleasure is for you if you have experienced…
Low self esteem or self worth
Numbness or pain in your pelvic region
Feeling lonely and isolated, even when people are around
Sexual assault, harassment, rape or sexual harm of any kind
Reactivity or difficulty during intimate connections
Reoccurring yeast infections, bladder or kidney infections or BV
The sense that there is more to life and more to sex
Reclaim Your Pleasure is for you if you want to…
Embody confidence and grounded ease
Experience more pleasure and sensuality in your day to day
Invite more magic and joy into your life
Enjoy alone time without feeling empty or sorry for yourself
Experience intimacy and connection with others without flipping out and jumping ship
Nourish your own deepest longings and desires
Discover your greatest resource for power
“This workshop gave me belly laughs, dance moves, and deep insights into my body's potential for movement. It has been a gift that keeps on giving!”
In Reclaim Your PLEASURE, you will learn how to…
Connect to your body in a (con)sensual way
Discover and refine your preferences
Honor your boundaries & ask for what you want
Stop performing pleasure (and find the real thing)
Thaw out numbness & stagnation in your pelvis
Breathe in a way that is delightful
Access your body as a source of pleasure
“Not only did I have FUN but I came into relationship with my body, particularly the sensual/more shameful parts of my body, in a new and transformative way.”
Each class includes*…
opening & closing circle
gentle, choice based movement practices (like stretching, grounding and pelvic breathing)
education on weekly embodied pleasure theme (such as “unraveling tension in the hips and jaw” and “comfort as pleasure”)
creative activities (writing, drawing and reflection prompts)
*Activities are always optional and include multiple options for participation so that you can choose what feels best for you that day.
“I LOVE Kelsey and the work she does to help reconnect us to our sexiness, and aliveness.”
Reclaim Your Pleasure provides a safe space for you to feel your body and take exquisite care of yourself.
You will get to practice moving your body in ways that feel truly nourishing (and yes! pleasurable) to you.
There will be gentle music, soft carpet and lots of blankets available for our movement practice.
You will not be offered physical touch- you will be in control of your own body and sovereign over your space throughout the class.
This is not a masturbation class. You will be fully clothed the entire time and there will be no stimulation of genitals during our time together.
The skills and tools you learn in Reclaim Your Pleasure will invite you to experience more pleasure in all areas of your life and to consider things like sleeping, eating, walking and even working as potential sources of pleasure.
You will also learn ways that you can practice experience more pleasure in sexual and sensual connections and relationships.
You will be invited to stretch, breathe and rest. There will be invitations to breathe into your abdomen, pelvic floor and groin area.
Everything is offered as an invitation.
Multiple variations are offered in each physical form and you will be encouraged to choose what feels best for you moment to moment.
We will practice listening to our bodies and allowing our embodied intelligence to have plenty of space to grow strong.
