Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is an evidence based, adjunctive clinical treatment for complex trauma or chronic, treatment-resistant PTSD.
Developed by clinical researchers, TCTSY has foundations in Trauma Theory, Attachment Theory and Neuroscience as well as Hatha Yoga practice with an emphasis on body-based yoga forms and breathing practices.
Kelsey Gustafson, RYT, TCTSY-F is is adjunctive faculty at the Center for Trauma and Embodiment and is certified through the TCTSY program to use the protocol developed, studied, and empirically validated by the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at JRI. She is one of two certified facilitators of TCTSY in California.
